The terms that apply

These terms of service govern the use of this website and any order placed through it. Completing checkout means accepting them. If a point is unclear, ask before ordering rather than afterwards.

Who may order

Orders may be placed only by someone aged 18 or over who is able to enter into a contract. We ask for confirmation of age when the order is placed, and the carrier can ask again at the door. An order placed on behalf of a person under 18 will be cancelled and refunded, and identification may be requested before an order is released.

Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when dispatch is confirmed, not at the moment the order is placed. If an item has sold out, carries an obvious pricing error, or cannot lawfully be sent to the address given, the order is declined and anything already charged is repaid in full.

Pricing and tax

Prices are shown in US dollars. The price displayed at checkout is the price charged for the item. Tax is worked out at checkout for destinations where a retailer must collect it; where no tax line is shown, none is being charged. Prices may change and listings may be withdrawn at any time, but a change after an order is placed does not alter the price of that order.

Shipping

The shipping policy sets out the options, the daily cut-off and the transit windows, and it forms part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees, and title to the goods passes on delivery to the address given at checkout.

Returns and refunds

Items that are still sealed may go back inside the window the returns policy gives. Opened intimate items may not be returned, for hygiene reasons. A refund, where one is due, goes back to the method that paid for the order once the returned item has been looked over. The returns policy forms part of these terms and prevails on any question it addresses.

Warranty and faulty goods

Items are covered against manufacturing defects for the period stated in the returns policy: an item that arrives damaged or fails through a fault in the charging hardware will be replaced or refunded. No extended warranty, service contract or guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose is sold or implied, and no warranty is offered beyond what these terms and the returns policy state. Consumable parts such as cables and cleaning cloths are excluded from defect cover.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. With that exception, what can be claimed over an order is capped at the sum paid for the goods in it, and losses that flow indirectly from a problem are not covered. This is a retail store, not a medical supplier, and no product is sold for a therapeutic purpose.

Privacy and cookies

Personal information is handled as described in the privacy policy, and cookies are used as described in the cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.

Dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, write to the contact address on this site first and give us the chance to put it right; most disputes are an order question in disguise. If a disagreement cannot be settled by talking to us, it falls to be decided under the law of the state where the operator is registered; that state must be supplied by the operator before this store accepts live orders.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the store changes. The version in force for an order is the version published when that order was placed.
