About HUSHGROVE
Why this shelf is short
HUSHGROVE is an adult-goods store organised around one practical problem: most people who want to give something intimate have no clear way to buy it well. The shelf is therefore deliberately small. Four pieces, every one of them chosen because it can be handed over as it arrives rather than needing a paragraph of explanation first, and every one listed with the facts that actually decide the purchase rather than the mood it is meant to create.
Everything here is sold to adults aged 18 and over. Nothing on this site is written for, shown to, or sold to anyone younger, and no page describes a product as a treatment, a cure or a health benefit of any kind.
What “ready to give” means in practice
A set leaves this building complete. In practice that means a rigid box that survives a journey inside a bag, tissue or a fabric sleeve around the contents, a ribbon that is tied rather than glued, and a blank enclosure card with nothing printed on it but a border. No price appears anywhere inside the presentation. No store name is stamped on the card or the paper. Nothing in the box sends the person unwrapping it back to this website, because a gift should not carry a receipt for a conversation the giver has not had yet.
We also keep the presentation honest about what it is. The boxes are board, not lacquer; the ribbon is cotton or satin, not silk; the cards are uncoated stock. Where a material is recycled, the listing says so. Nothing is described as luxury unless the material itself justifies the word.
How the listings are written
Every product page leads with four specifications: material, power, waterproof rating and care. Size and contents follow, then the care instructions are repeated in short form, then anything that is not included. We state the length or diameter of each piece, the charging standard, the water resistance rating and the cleaning method, because those four things decide whether a gift will actually be used rather than stored in a drawer.
What we do not do is describe the products in terms of what they are supposed to do for a body. That is not a claim a retailer can honestly make, and it is not a claim this store makes. We describe what a piece is made of, how it is charged, how it is washed and what happens if it arrives faulty. If a manufacturer states a material grade, we repeat the wording and say that it comes from the manufacturer rather than from testing we have run ourselves.
The two categories
- Gift Sets — pieces that arrive boxed with the accessories and the card already in the box, so there is nothing to assemble before handing them over.
- Occasions — the anniversary piece and the finishing kit, for the times when the date matters more than the object: an anniversary, a birthday, a long weekend away.
The categories are not a hierarchy. They are two ways of answering the same question, which is whether you want to hand over a finished thing or finish it yourself.
Packing and privacy
Orders leave in a plain outer carton or padded mailer with no store name, no product name and no illustration on the outside. The sender name on the label is a neutral wording rather than a retail brand, the descriptor on a card or bank statement is neutral rather than a store name, and nothing is added to the parcel that markets anything — no leaflets, no samples, no discount codes. Please read the discretion policy on this site for the full description, including the returns side of the same arrangement.
After-sales, in one paragraph
If something arrives damaged, describe it by email with photographs and we will replace it or refund it. If you change your mind, an item that is still sealed in its original packaging can come back within the window stated on the returns page; an item that has been opened cannot, for hygiene reasons that apply to everyone equally. Charging faults are handled under the same returns process. We do not sell extended cover and we do not quote a written warranty beyond the terms published on this site.
What this store is not
There are no customer reviews on these pages, because we have not collected any and will not invent them. There are no awards, no press mentions and no certification badges, because we hold none. The registered business name, postal address and any licence or tax numbers for this store must be supplied by the operator before this store accepts live orders; until then, this site is a presentation of a catalogue and nothing more.
