Who this store sells to

HUSHGROVE sells adult products to customers aged 18 and over. Nothing here is aimed at, advertised to, or sold to anyone below 18, and no page is written to catch a younger reader’s eye.

Confirmation when the order is placed

An order cannot be finished until you have confirmed two things: that you are 18 or over, and that somebody adult can take the parcel at the address given. The date and time of that confirmation are stored with the order. The store may ask for government-issued photo identification showing a date of birth before releasing an order, and may cancel an order where age cannot be confirmed.

Confirmation at the door

The carrier can ask for an adult signature on orders our age check flags, and nobody who looks under 18 will be given the parcel. If nobody adult is in, the carrier can hold it for another try or send it back to us, and we will be in touch about a second attempt or a refund for the items.

Gift orders

A gift does not transfer the age requirement. The person ordering confirms their own age, and the delivery address must still be one where an adult can take the parcel. Where a gift is sent directly to the recipient, that recipient is the person the carrier will ask for identification if the order is flagged.

If verification fails

When an order is cancelled because age could not be established, everything charged is repaid in full to the method used. Repeated attempts to order on behalf of someone under 18 will result in the account and the delivery address being blocked, and the store reserves the right to report a suspected offence.

Why the check exists

Age verification is a condition of selling these products lawfully in the United States, and it applies to every customer, including returning ones. It is also the reason this store does not run referral schemes, gift-with-purchase offers aimed at new audiences, or any promotion that could reach a younger reader.
